| The Project Begins at Akehurst St, Putney |
In summer 2005 we demolished the existing property and started work on the basement that October.
When the scaffolding arrives you know you've begun! |
| Progress was swift with a timber frame construction and we then we started the interiors |
| Loads of planning and suddenly there was the 29ft kitchen! And a master bathroom with beautiful tiles from Spain |
| All we had to do then was sell them! Number 11 and no12 sold for £1.1.million pounds each!!! 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a 29ft kitchen dining, a lounge, a beautiful semi basement room with shower and a 90ft garden completed these 2,600 sq ft luxury homes. |
| Project no 2 was alreaday underway at Dryburgh Rd in Putney |
Another plot and another basement. This time we are building a 3 bedroom 3 bathroom bijou little house of 1800 sq ft. We call her Dolly's House! We will match the bricks on either side to make it look as of she has always been there! |

| Another timber frame arrives and another house takes shape. More planning, more bathroooms and another lovely kitchen. |
| And Dolly's House was sold before we had finished!! We had a last drink to celebrate. Now she is more sensibly called The Coach House and has new caring owners! September 2006 |
We made the press - exciting times at Akehurst st! |
The Project was flimed twice for London ITV Tonight - see full clips on Press and Media on the Home page. Whizz-Kiddz, Josh and Jess came along to give "interviews" and we enjoyed it all! |
We also did a film for BBC London News - Small Steps were the stars - see the media clip on the Home page! |
| And then we had a Party! |
| In September 2006 we had a party at Akehurst St! Everyone came including the children and we had a great time. I got a chance to say "thanks" to all those who had helped (see Suppliers section) and everyone saw the finished houses! |

| Lizzie from Whizz-Kidz cut the magnificent cake, a gift from Savoir Design in Wandsworth, the Outback Restaurant also in Wandsworth, cooked a fantastic BBQ for us. Kit watches in keen anticipation and Dean and Charlotte catch up on news! |
| The whole team was there looking great - even the boys wore pink and there was loads to eat! We enjoyed ourselves! |

Josh and Jess are Ambassadors and are always pleased to meet the media and talk about how they manage their lives. Robbie and Ciara (below) were delighted with their new racing trikes! |
