Great Ormond Street Hospital in London is home to one of the largest and most successful pediatric cardio-respiratory teams in the world.
Every year they care for more than 7,000 children and babies with complex heart and lung conditions and share their expertise with other hospitals across the world to help many thousands more. However, despite their success the cardio-respiratory team have to contend with being housed in outdated, overcrowded facilities that is preventing them from breaking new ground even faster.
