Charlotte was delighted to present Andy Finch, CEO of GASP with a cheque for £20,000 to finance various projects they currently undertake in Surrey.
GASP provides hands-on- accredited courses in basic motor mechanics (daytime and evening) for young people aged 14-19. This includes those who are disadvantaged or at risk or who have special needs educationally
GASP gives giving young people an opportunity to gain vital employability skills, and helping them to open doors they could not access themselves.
Give it Away’s donation will fund the business link initiative which runs in the offices of Stanhope Seta in Chertsey, which consist of three 10 week courses, as well as two Special Needs 10 week courses for those with learning difficulties from two Woking schools
Charlotte visited the projects at the offices of Stanhope Seta and watched young people making elementary electrical devices as well as seeing Stanhope Seta’s technical award winning projects! She didn’t understand it all!!
