Charlotte has been a supporter of the Treehouse School in North London for many years and saw them move from humble Portakabins into the large airy modern premises they have now occupied for some years.
She is keen on funding the work of their Youth Patrons and pupils at the end of their school days seeking to be part of further education and employment.
The donation of £30,000 presented to Jonathan Andrews , head of Youth Patrons and will support their AGM’s , meetings and conferences. They run these events themselves, creating agendas, initiatives and training opportunities which they are responsible for identifying. These young people work hard to make their voice heard and to take part positively in adult life.
The visit to the school was fun and informative and of course we ate cake – again!
