Acquired: August 2006
Completed: August 2007
Funds Raised: £457,000
This site in the Roehampton area of Putney was acquired by Give it Away in 2006 as the first project ever!
The planning permission was in place for the demolition of the existing property and the build of a pair of semi-detached houses. We re-applied for planning permission to include a sub-basement and the total square-meters of each house was approximately 2,300sqm.
The interior specification was high with a ‘wow factor’ kitchen-diner, leading on to a deck overlooking the garden. Below, a ground floor had its own entrance and much attention was given to storage facilities.
Given the buoyant property market at the time, both houses sold for £1,150,000 each, which resulted in a profit Give Away of £457,000.
