Circle Community‘s main aim is to create training and career opportunities for young people currently not in education, employment or training (NEET). We aspire to place every young person with a permanent job or further education or training, and provide future opportunities to expand skills in order to obtain employment of a higher level if it is so desired.
We are heavily involved in sport and athletic activities, promoting and encouraging sporting participation in young people for the improvement of both mental and physical health.
The Circle Training course has currently placed 65 participants in permanent employment, with many more achieving accredited qualifications. We have a phenomenal success rate of 80%, and a retention success rate of 90%, meaning an overwhelming majority of our volunteers find and continue to flourish in full-time employment.
Our free sports programmes enable local young people to deliver sports through volunteering. Our volunteer-run Circle Sports football club provides free fitness and sports participation for local 9-13 year old children in a safe and encouraging environment.

The surrounding community also benefits as a whole, with police reporting a noticeable reduction in local crime directly correlated with the timing of the activities.
