Back-up trust is a Wandsworth based charity that deals specifically with rehabilitation for individuals who have suffered a spinal chord injury.
Their mission is to inspire and transform the lives of those who have acquired a disibility through building confidence, encouraging independence and changing common perceptions of disabilities. They pride themselves on respecting individality and diversity; passion for the cause and adding an element of fun back into such circumastances.
This is the first charity that Give It Away will be donating to outside of the children’s category; as donations will fund rehabilitation and support for those over the age of 40.
