Donations At Christmas 2025
The time of year came around again for Give it Away to jump into action with more wonderful “pink envelope” moments!
This was all helped along by some of my Charities taking part in the Big Give so that they were able to double this money which is excellent news.
The donations were made at fun Christmassy events ranging from The Meath’s fabulous annual Carol Service at the beautiful St Clements Dane Church supported by the Honourable Royal Artillery Corps Brass Band and personnel in uniform, to personal meetings with Father Christmas at Waterloo station who turned out be Chris Hickford from Eikon! Yes – I had to walk around London with Santa! Back Up Trust held a lovely seasonal event for supporters with drinks, canapes and yuletide songs in London.
Home Start held their traditional Carol Concert at St Anne’s Church Wandsworth and Charlotte and Vicky fromUK Youth celebrated at PJ’s in London. A donation was also made to Honeypot who support young carers between the ages of 11 and 15 who need some respite from assuming so much responsibility in their home situations at such a young age.
