With a history spanning over a century, UK Youth is a leading national charity committed to ensuring all young people are empowered to build bright futures, regardless of their background or circumstances.
Charlotte visited SATRO at Kennel Lane School in Bracknell where students were taking part in the Mobile Classroom project which she supports, led by volunteer Kevin.
The donation cheque was received by Lucy Miguda and Charlotte saw both work in progress and finished articles. She was presented with a trendy wellie boot holder!
Well – 2018 began in January with cheque writing which has to be my favourite pastime!
Eikon are a Surrey based Charity whose focus is to intervene as early as possible in the lives of young people whose home and family circumstances have caused them grief, disruption and neglect.
This is the first time Give it Away has made a donation to St Mungo’s and to a project of this nature.
